12 Jan 2018 - Results of ISME's (the Irish SME Association) General Data Protection Regulations survey

ISME is an independent representative association for Small and Medium Enterprises in Ireland with excess of 10,500 members nationwide.

Following a survey to which 507 businesses replied, ISME reported that Irish SMEs are unprepared for GDPR.

• 82% of businesses are aware of GDPR
• 62% of businesses cannot name any changes GDPR will bring
• 70% of business have not identified the steps needed to be GDPR compliant
